Tutor Information

I have been painting now for about 40 years, my main love is flowers, big small, bunches, modern or abstract.
I have taught all over Australia, and while living in the USA for 8 years, I had the privilege of teaching there as well.

My style can be very loose. I like to paint fast or I can spend hours fiddling with lots of depth, light and details. Lately I’ve been inspired by bridal bouquets and have a large collection of photos to still do.

I have travelled to Tasmania and New Zealand and taught flowers on ceramics and furniture which was challenging but fun. I have also been teaching Napkin art for many years, combined with painting can have an interesting effect. I’m amazed after 20 years that I’m still doing Napkin classes, using bottles, pots, trays and furniture.

I occasionally paint water, birds, beach and boats, living near Lake Macquarie have never-ending inspiration.

I have now built a gorgeous little Shed Shed in my backyard and hope to teach there in 2026.
