TERMS & CONDITIONS

• A Fab Fake painting must be an exact copy of an original painting by an artist who has been deceased for over 70 years. The ‘fake’ requires your signature followed by the word “after” and then the original artist’s name, e.g. “your signature after Renoir”
• All entries must be offered for sale. A commission of 30% will be deducted from the sales.
• A colour A4 image or print of each original artist painting is to be downloaded with online entry
• The artist’s name, price, title, original artists name, medium used, to be on the back of painting as a label.
• The artwork has to be less than 1.2 metres in width, or 2 entries up to 1.2 meters in width (eg 1 x 55cm & 1 x 65cm = 1.2 metres).
• All entries must be the work of the entrant and painted within the last 18 months.
• Paintings entered into any previous Fab Fake exhibition will be rejected.
• The judge's decision is final
• A Fab Fake cannot be a print, nor a “painted-over” print or pre-printed canvas /canvas board.
• Entries may be framed or unframed and must comply with framing standards that are listed on the TADAS web site'{Framing Guidlines for TADAS PDF.pdf}
• Works on paper such as watercolour, pastel, and charcoal are to be under glass.
• Entries must be received between 12-4pm Thursday 25th September - ring the gallery for appointment time after you submit your entry (4392 4666).
• While utmost care will be exercised, Toukley And Districts Art Society Inc and Tuggerah Lakes Art Society Inc, nor their members will be responsible for insurance, loss or damage to any artwork.
• Toukley And District Art Society Inc and Tuggerah Lakes Art Society Inc reserves the right to use images of your artwork for promotional purposes.
• Paintings not collected will be held at a storage facility and a fee will apply.
