INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS
GENERAL
Open to all current financial members of TADAS.
- Hanging Art– Maximum of two (2) entries
- Maximum size of artworks: 1.2 metres in width, including frame
- PLUS 2 x 30cm or less artworks.
- Work must have been created within the past 3 years and not be exhibited more than once in the gallery within the calendar year.
- Handcrafted Giftware – Maximum of Twenty-five (25) items per exhibition.
COPYRIGHT:
- All entries must be the artist’s own work from conception.
- No AI images or copies from AI generated images will be accepted.
- All entries must not be an infringement of international copyright
- No copied works from other artists or workshops.
- SALES: All entries must be for sale.
- Commissions starting from 20% to TADAS will be deducted from the sale price
- Sold items may be replaced with a similar item. A “Replacement” form is to be completed.
INSURANCE: TADAS exercises all care where possible. Insurance is the Artist’s responsibility. TADAS will not be responsible for loss or damage to artworks within the gallery.
HANGING ART & SCULPTURE
- All art entries MUST be clearly labelled on the back of the piece with:
- Artist’s name
- Medium
- Price
MATTED DISPLAY ARTWORKS
- All works must be original artworks
- Must be matted and backed in acid free screen board
- Must be presented in cellophane
- Must be clearly labelled on the back of the piece with:
- Artist’s name
- Medium
- Price
HANDCRAFTED GIFTWARE
- Must contain at least 70% of the artist’s original content
- Greeting cards: must be either original artworks or clear photographs of the artist’s original works. NO AI CREATED IMAGES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
- When you expand your product line with items not previously seen, it must be reviewed by the Handcrafted Giftware Director – 2 weeks prior to Exhibition Changeover.
- All items must be uniquely handcrafted and of a gallery standard.
- Jurying will be undertaken by the Handcrafted Giftware Director regarding suitability for display. This decision can be reviewed at a committee meeting. Please discuss with the Handcrafted Giftware Director first, then email the gallery at toukleyartgallery@gmail.com
